Biography

Patrick J. Wolf is Executive Director of the Institute for American Manufacturing & Technology, a 501(c)(3) policy and research organization dedicated to strengthening the industrial foundations of the United States. The Institute conducts research across three specialized divisions: the Aegis Institute, focused on artificial intelligence governance and compute infrastructure; the Atlas Institute, focused on energy systems and power infrastructure; and the Forge Institute, focused on manufacturing competitiveness and supply chains.

Wolf’s research examines how policy frameworks, institutional decisions, and technological change interact to shape national capacity, spanning manufacturing, energy, artificial intelligence, and industrial strategy. He oversees the Institute’s three research divisions and represents the Institute in public commentary and policy engagement.

Beyond the Institute, Wolf is the founder of Idaho Leaders, a platform dedicated to business, policy, and civic leadership in the state of Idaho.

Background

Patrick J. Wolf’s professional background includes work in enterprise strategy, data and analytics, and emerging technologies. His training in industrial engineering combined with graduate work in business and strategic communications informs an analytical approach that bridges economic, technological, and institutional perspectives.

He has advised organizations across the growth spectrum — from early-stage startups to established enterprises — as well as media companies and political campaigns at the local, state executive, and federal levels.

Based in Idaho, Wolf is active in civic and political leadership, serving in strategy and organizational roles within the Idaho Republican Party.
